THE YOGA OF TRUST
EDUCATOR TRAINING FOR MOVEMENT PROFESSIONALS
This is a 5-day intensive framework designed to discover and sharpen one’s true identity as an educator of movement. Through the shared lenses of partner-based movement (AcroYoga) and personal leadership, students deepen an awareness of trust to develop their True Teaching Voice, nurture connection and community, and identify core values.
The Yoga of Trust is not designed to train you to be a teacher. It empowers you to teach yourself, and through that understanding, inspire others to do the same. Most importantly, understanding the Yoga of Trust enables teachers to take full responsibility of their own actions and voice. Where many teacher trainings offer a false pretense that one is a teacher because they can memorize a script, this training provides you with something far more powerful: a detailed experiential framework to continually develop the teacher you already are.
On a physical level, the Yoga of Trust is a system of structural awareness which combines both personal and partner movement practices. Built upon an accessible and clinical presentation of AcroYoga (a broadly-defined term) as a basic foundation, this training blends in a deeper knowledge base of movement modalities (hatha/vinyasa yoga, core connection, and fitness training) and mental models (personal leadership, communication skills, and community building).
Upon completing the program, students will become official Yoga of Trust Educators. They will understand their own ethics of instruction and acknowledge their responsibilities as a teacher, facilitator, advanced student, and ambassador of Trust. They will have a foundation of self awareness and experiential knowledge to safely and effectively facilitate partner-based (“AcroYoga-inspired”) classes. Additionally, successful participants will receive 45 contact hours of Continuing Education across multiple categories, fully satisfying the three-year Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Requirements.

While basic proficiency in fundamental partner yoga-inspired movement is a requirement and topic of study for this particular training,
it has nothing to do with AcroYoga.org or .com. Teachers of other disciplines are not only welcome, but cordially invited.
